These terms govern your use of StackAudit’s EU-first dependency scanning, reporting, and guidance services.
1. Service
- We provide automated scans, reports, and recommendations to help you assess digital sovereignty, data flows, and vendor risk.
- Outputs are informational, not legal advice. You remain responsible for implementation and compliance decisions.
2. Eligibility & Accounts
- You must be able to form a binding contract and comply with applicable EU and local laws.
- Keep credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account.
3. Acceptable Use
- No scanning of targets without rights or authorization.
- No misuse to bypass security controls, distribute malware, or violate privacy/data protection laws.
- No reverse engineering, reselling, or framing of the service without written consent.
4. Data & Privacy
- We process URLs, network data, and derived reports to deliver the service. See our Privacy and Cookies notices for details.
- You must not input special categories of personal data. Minimize personal data wherever possible.
5. Intellectual Property
- We retain rights to the platform, detectors, and content. You retain rights to your data.
- We grant you a limited, non-transferable license to use outputs for internal compliance and procurement decisions.
6. Availability & Changes
- Service may evolve; we may modify or suspend features with notice where reasonable.
- We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uptime; planned maintenance will be minimized.
7. Disclaimers
- Outputs are provided “as is.” They reflect the state of reachable resources at scan time and may miss blocked or hidden assets.
- No warranty of completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or legal sufficiency.
8. Liability
- To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to fees paid in the last 12 months (or €100 if free).
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.
9. Governing Law
- These terms are governed by EU law and the laws of the Member State where our entity is registered, excluding conflict rules.
- Disputes will be brought before the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
